Jill Aspin

I have loved art from being very young, and completed a Diploma in Graphic Design at college.  Ever since, art has been my passion, and my solace.

I run my own art school in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, (Love Painting Cheshire) where I teach drawing and painting and pass on my love of creating beautiful art to as many people as possible.

Over the last 10 years I have used a variety of different media; watercolours, charcoal, even sculpting with clay, but my heart lies with acrylics. During my years as an artist, I have painted animals and people, working as a pet portrait artist for a number of years, but again and again, I find myself returning to painting nature and flowers, as this is my true love.

In my paintings, I combine my passion for colour and my love of nature and aim to capture the essence of the beautiful landscape around us.  The serene settings where wildflowers thrive in woodlands, the magical places where the sun peeks through the leaves creating sparkles on the ground.
